Jefferson Waller, is into the 6th year
of his 10-year quest to draw the World's longest, continuous drawing.
He hopes to become part of the Guiness Book of World Records.
Eventually Jefferson plans for his artwork to be published as "The
Ultimate Coffee Table Book."
A concept which started in Houston, Texas. Jefferson first started
his journey on Hwy 6 north @ I-10 (a.k.a. The Katy Freeway). Hitch-hiking,
Jefferson's first planned destination took him to DisneyWorld in
Florida. On to Earnest Hemingway's home in Key West. He turned around
and went due north to Steven King's home in Bangor, Maine. And then
southwest to Graceland in Memphis. And of course all the people
and places in between.
Jefferson's drawing is mostly based on his continuing journey to
find a place where he belongs ... All of his original art work is
dedicated to his son, Bruce Ray Waller of Houston. Each year he
starts and finishes a new drawing / book of continuous art. At the
beginning of each year his art starts where the previous one left
off.
